Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation surgery is a popular procedure among many women for a number of reasons. It can be a positive impact on the overall balance of a woman’s figure by restoring breast fullness and shape, even out breast size, and lastly, improve self-image and self-confidence in professional and social situations.

At One Health Medical & Surgical Center, we deliver exceptional breast augmentation and breast implant surgery. With his extensive experience combined with an artistic eye and technical skills, Dr. Vu Dinh will thoroughly evaluate your needs to achieve your desired result.

Dr. Dinh offers a more advanced surgical technique for breast implant surgery to minimize the recovery downtime and to give each patient a natural look and feel. This method of breast implant surgery is called subfascial breast augmentation. For this type of procedure, Dr. Dinh will place the implant under the fascia but above the pectoral muscle. There are positive advantages in using this technique as opposed to subglandular, which is under the breast tissue but over the muscle and fascia, and submuscular—under the muscle, breast augmentations. The result is the patients achieve a more natural placement of the breast implant as well better cleavage appearance. Most noticeably, patients will also gain more natural movement with no displacement of the implant when moving the arms, which is a common effect with submuscular implants called dynamic deformity or implant animation. Women undergoing this method of surgery experience much less post-operative pain. Dr. Dinh will advise and give you the best option for breast implant surgery if subfascial breast augmentation may not be right for you.

Breast Lift ( Mastopexy )

Time affects everything as we age. As women age, different factors take their toll on the breast such as volume lost through pregnancy, nursing, lost of skin elasticity, and gravity resulting lost of breast shape and firmness. A more youthful appearing breast can be obtained by a breast lift or mastopexy. This procedure raises the breast by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour. Since each patient is different with different aesthetic goals and needs, this procedure can be used to reduce the size of the areolar or may need to be done in conjunction with a breast augmentation if significant breast volume has been lost. Dr. Dinh will work with you to accomplish your beauty goals to restore a more youthful breast.

Breast Reduction ( Reduction Mammaplasty )

Overly large breasts can cause strain on the neck and shoulders resulting in aches, pain, and breathing problems. Dr. Dinh performs a breast reduction surgery also known as reduction mammaplasty that will improve the shape and contour of the breast with the intention of creating better balance of proportion of the breast to the body. This is done by removing fat, glandular tissue, and skin from the breasts, as well as decreasing the size of the areola.

Breast Implant Revision

Breast implant revision is performed to replace an implant that has ruptured, been in place for more than ten years, or has an irregular contour. Revision surgery may also become necessary in the case of capsular contracture. Capsular contracture is one of the most common complications of breast augmentation and presents when the scar or capsule around the implant forms and causes the breast to feel hard and sometimes painful. Capsular contracture is not life threatening. Dr. Dinh can treat this condition by removing all or part of the scar tissue and repositioning the implant. Often, revisional procedures have a shorter recovery than the original augmentation procedure.
