Eyelid Surgery  ( Blepharoplasty )

Eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty removes fat, excess skin, and wrinkles from around the  upper and/or lower eyelid.  Patients may undergo upper blepharoplasty for their upper eyelids, lower blepharoplasty for their lower eyelids, or both procedures together.  This procedure can provide rejuvenation to the eye area as well as a refreshed appearance by reducing the puffiness that occurs as we age.  Blepharoplasty has become popular among many people of Asian descent because adding a crease to the eyelid or “double eyelid surgery”, will make the eyes appear larger while exposing more eyelashes.  The surgical addition of a crease and removing puffiness is not intended to erase ones ethnicity, but to give refinement and definition to the area around the eyes.

Face Lift ( Rhytidectomy )

A facelift or rhytidectomy is a long-lasting surgical solution to looking younger and refreshed. This procedure removes loose excess skin and fat deposits in the face and neck. You will see that the facial muscles are tightened to give you a sleek jawline that creates more definition. Sagging corners of the mouth and drooping tissues in the cheeks are repositioned to achieve firmer contours in the face and neck.  A facelift addresses the lower two-thirds of the face and does not correct problems around the eyes and forehead. These areas are addressed through blepharoplasty and/or brow lift, and can sometimes be performed at the same time as face lift.

Nose ( Rhinoplasty )

Rhinoplasty can correct a variety of undesirable conditions, including an oversized nose, too wide, asymmetrical, unattractive angle, undesirable shape of the nasal tip, and a narrow or wide span of the nostrils. Rhinoplasty can also correct problems caused by narrow or partially obstructed nostrils. This procedure reshapes our patient’s nose and create better balance and facial contour.

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation surgery is a popular procedure among many women for a number of reasons. It can be a positive impact on the overall balance of a woman’s figure by restoring breast fullness and shape, even out breast size, and lastly, improve self-image and self-confidence in professional and social situations.

At One Health Medical & Surgical Center, we deliver exceptional breast augmentation and breast implant surgery. With his extensive experience combined with an artistic eye and technical skills, Dr. Vu Dinh will thoroughly evaluate your needs to achieve your desired result.

Dr. Dinh offers a more advanced surgical technique for breast implant surgery to minimize the recovery downtime and to give each patient a natural look and feel. This method of breast implant surgery is called subfascial breast augmentation. For this type of procedure, Dr. Dinh will place the implant under the fascia but above the pectoral muscle. There are positive advantages in using this technique as opposed to subglandular, which is under the breast tissue but over the muscle and fascia, and submuscular—under the muscle, breast augmentations. The result is the patients achieve a more natural placement of the breast implant as well better cleavage appearance. Most noticeably, patients will also gain more natural movement with no displacement of the implant when moving the arms, which is a common effect with submuscular implants called dynamic deformity or implant animation. Women undergoing this method of surgery experience much less post-operative pain.  Dr. Dinh will advise and give you the best option for breast implant surgery if subfascial breast augmentation may not be right for you.

Breast Lift ( Mastopexy )

Time affects everything as we age.  As women age, different factors take their toll on the breast such as volume lost through pregnancy, nursing, lost of skin elasticity, and gravity resulting lost of breast shape and firmness.  A more youthful appearing breast can be obtained by a breast lift or mastopexy.  This procedure raises the breast by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour.  Since each patient is different with different aesthetic goals and needs, this procedure can be used to reduce the size of the areolar or may need to be done in conjunction with a breast augmentation if significant breast volume has been lost.  Dr. Dinh will work with you to accomplish your beauty goals to restore a more youthful breast.

Breast Reduction ( Reduction Mammaplasty )

Overly large breasts can cause strain on the neck and shoulders resulting in aches, pain, and breathing problems.  Dr. Dinh performs a breast reduction surgery also known as reduction mammaplasty that will improve the shape and contour of the breast with the intention of creating better balance of proportion of the breast to the body.  This is done by removing fat, glandular tissue, and skin from the breasts, as well as decreasing the size of the areola.

Breast Implant Revision

Breast implant revision is performed to replace an implant that has ruptured, been in place for more than ten years, or has an irregular contour. Revision surgery may also become necessary in the case of capsular contracture. Capsular contracture is one of the most common complications of breast augmentation and presents when the scar or capsule around the implant forms and causes the breast to feel hard and sometimes painful. Capsular contracture is not life threatening. Dr. Dinh can treat this condition by removing all or part of the scar tissue and repositioning the implant. Often, revisional procedures have a shorter recovery than the original augmentation procedure.

Tummy Tuck ( Abdominoplasty )

Abdominoplasty or more commonly known as Tummy Tuck is a surgical procedure performed to remove and tighten excess skin at the midsection in order to achieve a flatter, smoother looking stomach.  Sometimes with weight gain or weight loss, and with child bearing, the abdominal muscles and skin are stretched and usually do not return to their original position, leaving many women with unflattering sagging skin.  During Tummy Tuck surgery the muscles in the abdomen are tightened to make your waistline smaller giving you a flatter stomach. The loose or excess skin in the abdominal region is removed and brought together tighter, therefore, the result is a trimmer waistline that is more aesthetically pleasing.

Male Breasts ( Gynecomastia )

Gynecomastia is a condition when abnormal large breast tissue form in men. This could be due to an imbalance between the sex hormones testosterone and estrogen. Also medications, anabolic steroids, poor diet, and hereditary disorders can cause the growth of glandular breast tissue in men. Gynecomastia is normally not a serious problem, but research shows that it can affect self-confidence and self-image. During surgery for gynecomastia, Dr. Dinh will contour the chest wall by removing glandular and fatty tissue through small incisions. In some cases, additional skin must be removed to achieve the best result. Recovery time is usually short, and discomfort is typically minimal.
