Juvederm

Dermal fillers can be used to help patients restore the firmness and fullness of youthful skin. Not only can the filler treatments smooth wrinkles, it can also fill in various types of facial creases and add much-needed volume to cheeks that appear hollow. Fillers can be divided into two types: temporary and semi-permanent. Results appear immediately.

Our doctors use JUVÉDERM™ which has the main component known as hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar complex that provides fullness and firmness to the face. FDA approved, JUVÉDERM™ lasts 12-24 months, is harmlessly adsorbed over time, and can be repeated to the maintain the facial aesthetic benefits. The Juvéderm® products, which are offered are the following:

1. Juvéderm Voluma® XC treats cheek and midface area to correct related volume lost.
2. Juvéderm® XC treats moderate to severe facial wrinkles & folds, such as nasolabial folds.
3. Juvéderm® Ultra XC treats perioral area for lip augmentations.

 

Sculptra

Sculptra® is an injectable product that restores and corrects the signs of facial fat loss by replacing lost volume. This volumizer provides an increase in skin thickness, helping to create a more natural facial appearance. It is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen. Sculptra® is composed of poly-L-lactic acid, a synthetic material that is used for years in many surgical products that is does not harm the body and that is able to be broken down by our body. Sculptra® creates a microscopic inflammatory response in the deep layers of the skin, thus stimulating your skin to increase collagen production. The results from Sculptra® are not immediate, however the effects are long-lasting, with clinical studies showing lasting effects for up to 2 years after the first treatment session.
